- Start a spring tradition for neighborhood clean up
- Visit Antelope Island
- Make at least one homemade Halloween costume
- Throw a totally kick-ass birthday party
- Teach the importance of charity
- Say "I love you" every day (and every night)
- Go bug hunting
- Build a snow village
- Jump in a pile of leaves
- Play a cool (not mean) practical joke
- Draw/color/paint
- Forgive something truly terrible - like spray painting the carpet or knocking a hole in the wall
- Play pretend in public
- Use character voices when reading stories
- Stay up and celebrate New Year's together
- Teach Charlie to ride a bike
- Fly kites
- Eat dinner as a family
- Write, direct, and produce at least one film, starring the family
- "Oh The Places You'll Go" book signed by all of Charlie's teachers until he graduates
- Travel out of the country, at least once
- Make and display at a new piece of artwork every year
- Plant a garden
